CLASSIFICATION:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Alien has a communicable disease.

DETAILS: Alien is inadmissible (under this ground) only if the communicable disease is of public health significance.

DEFINITIONS: Communicable disease of public health significance

FILING DATE RESTRICTIONS None.

EXCEPTIONS: None.

SPECIFIC WAIVERS:

1. Under INA 212(g)(1)(A). If the beneficiary is a spouse, unmarried son or daughter, minor unmarried lawfully adopted child of a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

2. Under INA 212(g)(1)(B). If the beneficiary is a parent of a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
